Widomaker is my first ever memoir inspired in part by “Scammer” by Caroline Calloway. Widowmaker consists of eleven chapters or “time capsules.” Memories unspooled and rewoven into a true alchemist’s journey of healing and transformation.
”Serendipity’‘ is defined as: ”The gift of finding valuable and agreeable things not intentionally looked for.” This certainly was my intention for all readers of this book.
Who doesn’t love a good comeback story? Widowmaker has been a beautifully cathartic journey- In these eleven chapters and 243 pages, I take the reader on a gripping journey. From the brutal military coup of Augusto Pinochet in 1973 Chile, to finding my full identity expression as a queer, neurodivergent artist, to not only surviving, but thriving after a deeply trauma bonded relationship wrought with addiction, sex work and narcissistic abuse.
I have sprinkled in some valuable Easter eggs from my years of spiritual seeking, as well as a dash of tongue in cheek humor for good measure. Widowmaker has been imbued with all of my love, courage, and a twist of well intended magic.
